I know I am a little late catching the "25 Things" fad, but here goes:
1. I love how I feel after I have worked really hard on something.
2. I judge a restaurant on the quality of its bread and judge its service on how often I am brought refill bread basket. I could usually care less about the main dish.
3. I can never cook anything on the stove without it boiling over.
4. I don’t really enjoy relaxing and doing nothing. I would much rather have a to-do list.
5. I don’t read as much as I would like to. However, my favorite genre of books is historical fiction. The Hiding Place is probably my favorite, although it is not fiction.
6. I love getting mail, even if it is just bills.
7. I wear shoes out abnormally fast. The soles always wear out, or come unglued, or some other method of being ruined. I can’t figure out why—I must walk funny.
8. If people misspell my name, I prefer Kellie over Kelly.
9. If I planned on working my whole life, I think I would want to be a heart surgeon (but since I don’t, I am basically a secretary right now)
10. I still plan on doing great things someday!
11. I enjoy learning and school, but can’t motivate myself to keep studying without grades. I love math and science, and hate writing and English. I hope to get a Masters Degree eventually.
12. Snakes, spiders, and most creepy things are fine with me, but I hate mice.
13. The bones in my right arm are 12 degrees off straight. I broke my arm when I was 18 and it was casted incorrectly. It is all okay now though because it was the cast that attracted Neal to me. He says that because of it, I have “more curves than the average girl.”
14. I like my showers so hot that I come out beet red from head to toe.
15. I have always wanted long hair, but it just never grows.
16. I love living in a place with four seasons.
17. I can sleep through almost anything.
18. I am trying to learn how to sew. My mom and grandma were excellent seamstresses, but I didn’t learn from them while I could, and now I have to learn the hard way. I sewed through my finger a few months ago and cut a big chunk off two fingers with a rotary cutter.
19. With #18 as proof, I am a complete clutz.
20. I think my husband’s amazing.
21. I love my four sisters and miss being near them and my parents.
22. I want to have a big family someday.
23. I hate scary movies—I couldn’t go to sleep after watching Ghostbusters. Okay, actually I don’t like most movies. I would much rather, hmm, go white-water river rafting.
24. I have a hard time cooking meat (but do it anyway), especially when I can identify parts of the meat from things I learned in my human anatomy class.
25. My two favorite food combinations are tomato & basil (both of which I have planted in my garden) and grape & lime.

Church History
As we were driving up through Ohio, our car hit empty in Kirtland. We weren't planning on stopping, but we ended up spending 3 hours at the Kirtland Temple, the NK Whitney store, and seeing a bronze exhibit and the visitors' center. On Sunday we visited the Hill Cummorah, the Sacred Grove, Joseph Smith's farm, the Grandin Building, and the Palmyra Temple.
Sunday was my parent's 25th wedding anniversary:
Here Neal and I are following in their footsteps:

Niagara Falls
I am going to do a series of posts here, we'll see how far I make it. My parents flew into New York during my sister's spring break, and we decided to drive up and meet them. We invited Neal's parents on the weekend getaway, and they decided join us. We left 6:00 Saturday morning and got home Sunday night. One of our stops was Niagara Falls. If I ever made a list, this would have been on my "Top 100," so I was quite thrilled to see the falls. Unfortunately, there was still ice at the bottom of the falls, so we couldn't ride the "Maid of the Mist," but we were lucky enough to get a rainbow. I am not a photographer, but when you have such a beautiful place to work with, even bad pictures are still beautiful.
