Neal M. helps Neal T.

This week Neal passed his cold/runny nose/cough to me. One night I was feeling especially achy and complainy so after getting little sympathy from Neal, I decided to take a hot bath. I never take baths, and I never read in the bathtub. However, breaking all of my personal routines, I grabbed October's Ensign and filled the tub with steamy-hot water. As luck would have it, this is what I read when I opened the magazine:
"Murmuring can be noisy enough that it drowns out the signals which tell us in some cases to stop soaking ourselves indulgently in the hot tubs of self-pity!"
To top it off, this quote was from Neal A Maxwell. It was almost like my Neal sent out a little plea to Elder Maxwell asking for help to get me to stop complaining. Well, it worked...I chuckled to myself all week whenever I thought about it and did my best not to "murmur about my afflictions."

We miss you guys. When did we grow up and become adults? I think that we need to plan a trip (just like the Lake Tahoe trip) for sometime this year. Maybe when Neal has a break from school and if you can get off work you could come out here and we could go to Disneyland.. what do you think? I hope that everything is going well for you.. We miss you.
