Well, we finally made it! Neal and I both graduated this Friday. He graduated with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Business. I graduated with a degree in Behavioral Science and Health, but I prefer to just say "Health" because I am not a psychologist (it is just a good pre-med major). Talk about procrastination!
Neal's parents flew from Pennsylvania to watch graduation. It was fun to have them there.
Here are both sets of parents. This kind of reminds me of wedding photos, but the colors are wrong. This gives you an idea of how long our day was. We lined up at 8:00 in the morning for the commencement and got out of convocation at about 7:30 p.m. There was a break in the middle, but it was still a long day. The University of Utah had 7,331 graduates this year. I thought that there were now more girls than boys in college, but at both U of U and USU (where my sister graduated), more of the graduates were boys. I guess I'm okay with that because it means affirmative action will still work in my favor!
My family, without one sister. Even though she hasn't even graduated from high school yet, most of us would now agree that she is probably the smartest one!
The Saturday following graduation, Neal's parents took us to the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate his birthday. We learned the hard way that they don't give free refills on soda pop, but still had a good time. We told the waitress that it was his birthday and they brought his cheesecake decorated and sang to him.

Congratulations! I am so excited for you both! Let's try to get together one more time before you move to Ohio. Maybe dinner or something...
Apparently I was leaving comments on old posts. I hope you've figured out how to use it. I got my tonsils out this week. Thanks for the get well.. Actually I'm doing alright, I just get tired easily. There was a dutch oven dinner at the church yesterday. Sad because I couldn't eat the BBQ pork. I'm only going to try this a couple more times if I don't get a response. We need to set up a golfing time for this week. Let me know.
